I am glad you are here!
If you are here to further your education, I am here to help and guide you on your journey!
Natalie Milom, LCSW
As an EMDR therapist, consultant, and trainer, I focus on Racial and Relational/Attachment Trauma, helping clients and therapists understand how childhood trauma and racial trauma shape relationship patterns.
I help clinicians refine case conceptualization, apply EMDR effectively to complex relational dynamics, and build confidence in treating attachment wounds.
My approach is practical, evidence-based, and focused on real-world application to support deeper, lasting change.
Your EMDR Basic Training Journey: Two Parts, One Certification
Trying to fit comprehensive EMDR training into a single weekend often means rushing through material that deserves real depth, especially when you are learning to apply it with cultural nuance and clinical care. That is why our Basic Training is offered in two immersive parts, giving you the time and space to actually absorb the model, practice it, and integrate it into your work with clients.
Part 1: November 6 to 8, 2026 (20 hours)
Part 2: December 4 to 6, 2026 (20 hours)
Together, these two parts make up the full 40 hour EMDR Basic Training required for certification. Completing both parts, in full and with EMDR For the Culture, as well as completing 10 hours of consultation, is what earns you your certificate and officially marks you as EMDR trained.
Because our curriculum is intentionally built to move you through each required topic in sequence, both parts must be completed here with us. We cannot guarantee that training completed elsewhere covers the same ground the same way, so mixing and matching with another provider is not an option.
Spots fill quickly, so we recommend registering for both parts at the same time to lock in your seat for both. If you purchased Part 2 first, please click below to purchase Part 1!

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS OF EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly effective therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro in the late 1980s to address trauma-related symptoms and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Over the years, extensive research has demonstrated its effectiveness in treating a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, phobias, panic disorders, and complex grief.
This EMDR helps individuals process distressing memories that contribute to negative self-perceptions and emotional responses. Unlike traditional methods that focus on managing daily symptoms, EMDR targets the underlying causes, facilitating deeper and longer-lasting healing.
