WELCOME

We are so happy you are here!  The success of you and your business is our business. The work you do matters and the people who are benefitting from your work need you! We are here to provide you with the tools and knowledge to help grow as a professional and person.

I’m Natalie Milom, a licensed clinical social worker, supervisor, executive leader, and PhD candidate in Social Work at the University of Georgia, where my research centers on Black love, racial trauma, couples distress, and poverty as trauma, and over 15 years of experience working with couples, families, and high-performing professionals. Prior to founding Potential Realized, I served as Chief Executive of two nonprofit organizations and held senior leadership roles within mission-driven institutions. I secured multimillion-dollar federal grants, led strategic planning initiatives, and guided organizations through national accreditation processes. This executive leadership background informs my systems-level thinking and my commitment to sustainable, high-quality clinical practice.

I am the founder and visionary behind Potential Realized, an organization I created to support both healing and leadership development. Potential Realized specializes in serving nonprofit leaders and organizations, social workers, mental health professionals, child welfare professionals, and foster parents. We provide trauma-informed therapy, clinical supervision, and a variety of ACE-approved trainings for professionals and organizations seeking to strengthen their impact.

In addition to serving professionals and systems, I specialize in working with Black couples and high-achieving individuals navigating relational distress, attachment wounds, racial stress, and unresolved trauma. My clinical work integrates EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment science, and nervous system–informed interventions to support deep, sustainable healing.

At its core, Potential Realized reflects that healing and leadership are interconnected, and both require safety, accountability, and intentional growth.

Supervisor, Trainer & Clinical Leader

In addition to direct clinical services, I provide individual and group supervision for clinicians seeking licensure and advanced specialization in trauma and relational work.

As an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant and Advanced Credit Trainer, as well as an ICEEFT-Certified EFT Supervisor, I guide clinicians in strengthening case conceptualization, increasing intervention precision, and integrating attachment theory with trauma processing models.

Whether in therapy, supervision, research, or training, my mission remains consistent: to support deep trauma healing, help facilitate secure relationships, help develop confident, competent clinicians, and advance justice-informed social work at every level.

Outcomes & Goals

Choosing a therapist, supervisor, or trainer is not just about credentials. It’s about fit, depth, and trust.

When you work with me, you are working with someone who understands both the clinical and systemic dimensions of trauma. I do not treat symptoms in isolation. I help you understand the patterns underneath the patterns and how attachment, racialized stress, performance pressure, leadership responsibility, and generational survival strategies shape how you or your clients move through relationships and work.

If you are a clinician seeking supervision or consultation, I will sharpen your case conceptualization, deepen your use of trauma and attachment frameworks, and strengthen your clinical confidence. My supervision is structured, culturally attuned, and designed to expand both your technical skill and your clinical presence.

When you work with me, you are not just receiving services. You are entering a space designed for depth, growth, accountability, and meaningful transformation.
